McAfee Email Saying it blocked over 2500+ risky connections.

Hello! I hope you are having a nice day.

So recently, I got an email from McAfee saying it blocked over 2500 risky connections, I don't use that software anymore so thats a bit concerning.

The email sent me to this link: https://mcafeeinc-mkt-prod2-m.adobe-campaign.com

That link doesn't seem normal so I'm wondering what it is.

In general, I'm wondering why it uses that weird link and why it says it blocked over 2500 risky connections, it never gave me a notification when I was using livesafe, that is the issue.

Was LiveSafe infected with malware to prevent it from notifying me?

Is something wrong with over 2500 risky connections?

Should I be concerned or is this normal?

Hi @Galagy

Thanks for notifying us. This email may be a scam email. We recommend you not to click on this link .

We will have this checked by the backend team. If McAfee is installed Please check the status in security history under firewall.

Regards

Ok, please keep me up to date. I got the email from here:

Also, I get this link when I click "View in browser"

Please tell me if it is fake or if it is a virus, I'm very concerned.

See what the mods say but by chance do you have McAfee security scan plus installed . It is a tool installed during adobe updates and installs and it could be generating this.
