How to test if McAfee is blocking port 465?

New Dell computer summer 2023. For the last few months, I've successfully sent/received Comcast emails on Outlook desktop, via pop.

However today I can only receive emails, but cannot send. I made no computer changes: yesterday I had email capability; today I don't.

Today I have spent 2 hours on the phone with comcast and they deny there's any problem.  How can I prove that McAfee virus protection or firewall is NOT blocking port 465?

Hi @bark76

We regret for the inconvenience!

The Firewall in your McAfee security software has the default security levels set to block remotely initiated connections. These settings help protect your computer from malicious activities. Kindly refer the below article for complete details.
