All any of us can do is keep confirming this. I've confirmed it on five seperate computers running three different operating systems. Same list as everyone else exactly. Turn off Net Guard it goes away.
I never go to YouTube so in my case I posted on another thread first where the exact same issues were being described. This is not the only thread, but the issue is the same.
You will notice I almost never post here, so I'm certainly not here unless there is a genuine issue with this service.
Yes that GoToAssist is a red herring. You can leave your Firewall up and just uncheck Net Guard.
Here’s an update to the issue reported:
Just a had a conversation with Quigley (our user) and was confirmed that issue is not happening any more after the recent update that happened to McAfee firewall. It might be fixed for others as well or not as updates are released based on GEO’s . So , if any in this thread still has the issue as of now, please click on my Avatar image and send me your details so as we could facilitate a call back and check the issue.
Dinz, as Tony said we need a build number. I have exactly the same problems as previously reported, but probably don't have the latest update - I'm on -

I got Version 12.0.345 on 11/23/2011 and sometime around 12/7 or 8 it got better and I didn't see any version update (I've been checking almost daily) but it is NOT completely fixed. The downloading is much better, (music from Wolfgang's Vault and books from library) but filling in fields on forms is still terribly balky. Very easy, even for my old fashioned keyboarding to get way ahead of it. This is typical with "contact me" kinds of forms or political action froms where there is a text box to type your message before passing on a letter and when adding comments to LinkedIn posts I see it very badly . I do not see it here in this form. It seem no matter how fast I fat finger here this form acurately displays what is typed when it is. Netguard on/off seems to make no difference on this part of the problem but does make my downloading issue come back at least on streaming music from Wolfgang's Vault.Message was edited by: dsgn2mfg on 12/16/11 7:32:24 AM CST
I'm also having similar problems. Pages not loading or won't stop loading, having to reload pages several times, loading/running slow. And today on YouTube the videos would only load so far and then stop.
I disabled the firewall (temporarily) and that worked for YouTube.
I'll disable Net Guard and see how that goes. But I shouldn't have to.

(I recently downloaded IE 8 and I thought that was causing the problem so I uninstalled that and I'm still having the problem.)

(Someone mentioned update the version. As far as I can see I have to buy an updated version? My current one isn't up until 10/2012.)
My computer came with McAfee. Before that I used Norton and never had any problems.
How will we know when this problem is fixed?
