Blocked connections

I'm posting this just so I can get a confirmation that the following is "normal". 
So every month I get thousands of connections blocked by McAfee. I read somewhere that this can be considered normal behaviour by McAfee, but I would still like to know if anyone could confirm this.
I just checked a few connections and even though the IP's almost look like they have random numbers, for example 147.XXXXXXXX or 23.XXXXXXXXXX they all say that the address of the origin IP (those ones I just said) come from my own local network. Is this true? A few of them might also say, roughly translated that the address of the origin IP is also its own DNS server, whatever it means. I just checked one that says that the address of the origin IP apparently (literally what it says) tried to analyse my system by sending a great quantity of varied UDP packages. The more I see the more worrisome it gets, mostly because it is a LOT of different IP addresses so I'm a bit paranoid... Is this NORMAL behaviour?

Also, I play War Thunder and it has its own launcher. It uses peer to peer and usually whenever there is an update, major or minor like one I did right now, a McAfee popup might show up in the corner saying that a risky connection was blocked. The question is: McAfee is just calling it a risky connection because of the peer to peer aspect of the game right? And I shouldn't be worried about it, correct?

After reading that I kinda understand how it works, but can you give some explanation on why it says that all those different IP's are in my local network? In the past half hour I can count more than 6 different IP's.

Try to clean up your computer by removing browser cache, cookies and reboot your computer. Then check if the issue still persists

Just a quick update, I checked a few of the IP's on the website iplocation.net . Some of the different IP's that aren't on my own network come from different countries, but they are all under Akamai Technologies. I don't know anything about it, should I be worried and take measures?

Another random IP is from GleSYS AB in Sweden apparently. I have no idea why this connection is here. Another IP is from QuadraNet Enterprises in the US. Another is from Claro S.A. in Brazil and EZIT Kft in Hungary. There might be some more connections like these. I find this quite unsettling, because I have no idea what these companies are. I don't visit any kind of websites besides facebook or youtube for example, or playing games. There is absolutely no reason for me to "connect" to these IP's. Can advertisements for example be the reason for these connections? Or can anyone just justify these random connections at all? I keep doing AV scans and they always come clean. There isn't anything suspicious going on when it comes to the PC behaviour/performance but I really hate having these foreign connections without reason. The more I scroll down the more unknown IP's I find. And even while I'm writing this another IP showed up, but it also points to Akamai Technologies, but this time in Spain. 
I really wanted explanations please. Can anyone help?
