Auto renewal not expected

I got a message from my bank that a payment didn't go through for my McAfee auto renewal as there wasn't enough money on that bank account. As I didn't want to auto renew my subscription and this came as a total surprise, I quickly went to cancel the auto renewal from my McAfee account. Now it says that I have another month left on my subscription before it's cancelled. Where did this extra month come from and do I have to pay something still? Is it enough that I cancelled the auto renewal only after the payment didn't go through. After an experience like this I really don't want to buy another McAfee product.

Re: Auto renewal not expected

This happened a week ago and I was waiting to see what it said on my account and just noticed there was an extra month now in my subscription. Is there going to be some extra charges now or am I in some sort of trouble with my payments? I can pay the extra month, fine, just want this to be done with.
