Dear McAfee community,
I bought a new laptop with McAfee preinstalled, but the McAfee Personal Vault is missing. If I have a look at Feature tab, the only option is shredder.
Is it possible somehow to install McAfee Personal Vault?
I tried also to modify the installation through Windows uninstall/change program, but there is only the option to remove the program.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Regards,
Veacheslav

That suite (LiveSafe) doesn't contain File Lock. It does, however, have SafeKey to protect your passwords etc.
Now I can't guarantee that the offering from Dell also includes that as they control the content, but here's the product page: Antivirus Software, Internet Security, Spyware and Malware Removal | McAfee
Some suites don't contain File Lock, open SecurityCenter and then click the Data Protection item. Is File Lock mentioned there as "Available" ?
Under Data Protection olnlt Shredder is shown.
How can I install File Lock?
It isn't a separate feature that you can purchase unfortunately.
What is the name of the security suite you have, and is it direct from McAfee or your ISP or PC maker?
File Lock is a feature of Total Protection or All Access suites only.
I have Live Safe-Internet Security and was preinstalled by Dell.
