Mac Book Hanging Issue After Installing McAfee Seeking Assistance

Hello McAfee community,

I recently installed McAfee antivirus software on my Mac Book, and unfortunately, I've been facing a rather troublesome problem ever since. My Mac Book frequently hangs or becomes unresponsive after the installation.

Prior to installing McAfee, my Mac Book was functioning smoothly without any performance issues. However, as soon as I installed McAfee, the freezing and hanging problems started to occur. It's becoming increasingly frustrating as it disrupts my work and productivity.

I've tried rebooting my Mac Book, reinstalling McAfee, and even disabling certain features within the antivirus software, but the problem persists. I'm concerned that there might be a compatibility issue or a conflict with other applications on my Mac Book.

Has anyone else encountered a similar situation after installing McAfee on a Mac Book? Are there any specific troubleshooting steps or settings adjustments that I should consider to resolve this hanging problem?

I greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions you can provide to help me overcome this issue and ensure that McAfee works seamlessly on my Mac Book.
