How can I stop Mcafee from sending emails to the McAffe anti-spam folder?
I am using windows 10 with Oulook 2016.
Please Open McAfee user Interface > Web And Email protection > AntiSpam > Email Processing > Select Leave email in the Inbox option
Note that this will stop filtering Spam emails and that you need to be cautious while opening Emails.
Hello,
I have had McAfee imposed on me as bloat-ware on a new laptop. I have uninstalled McAffe but am now left with a "McAfee Anti-Spam" folder in Outlook 2016 (as a sub-folder under my Inbox). I want to return to the standard OUtlook "Junk" folder and Outlook/Exchange spam scanning. Please explain how I do this. I no longer have McAfee installed.
Thanks
Save the opened documents. If you require the spam/junk emails which is present in the Anti-Spam folder, move all the emails to the junk folder. Close outlook.and all other applications. Run MCPR to remove all McAfee remnants. Reboot the computer. The anti-spam toolbar will be removed. The spam emails will be moved to Junk folder by default then.
Regards
Siva
