Fake Amazon Email

I went into Amazon and within second I  had an email saying my account was locked.

How do scammers know that I have visited / logged onto my Amazon account?

I regularly run spy Spybot-S&D, Norton Power Eraser (sorry McAfee) and clear my cookie. So what am I missing.

Greetings From Mcafee,

We would recommend to remove unwanted browser extensions and also try using VPN for the computer so that your computer will be protected .
