I have anti-Spam 10.

And I have an email address with Gmail. I call my emails off by Windows mail (POP3). Since I can call the emails up with Gmail only with SSL, my ask whether is anti-Spam 10 my emails nevertheless still scann? And/or filters?

why stands there: " (SSL without) "

Yes it will scn and filter SSL mails.

I use the same settings here but Outlook2007. works flawlessly.

You mean that for you its not working or do you want to know whether it works for SSL connections?


I suppose Anti Spam 10.0 will support SSL connections if you are using E-mail clients like

Outlook/ Outlook Express/ Windows mail.

Hey, On the McAfee homepage stands however: " SSL without" That is not called nevertheless the McAfee anti-Spam SSL supported? That again I cannot introduce myself however? Perhaps does it concern a write error or which is meant with it? I use Windows mail.

Quoting from the Anti-Spam User Guide:

Anti-Spam also filters
Microsoft® Outlook®, Outlook Express, or Windows Mail
accounts on any port, including SSL (Secure Socket Layer) ports.

That's for the 2008 one, there is no guide yet for 2009.
