mcafee says it expired yesterday, but i still have full services.

my mcafee was set to expire yesterday. a warning poped up saying that i hade 0 days remaning. but when i go to my mcafee security center it says my service is active and that i theres no action required. i have the year mcafee plan that came with my new laptop that ive had for a year now. do i need to renew or do you still get service after your plan is up?

It will stop updating shortly and cease to be of use protecting you.  Double-check your account status online at your account page or phone Customer Service, it's free and linked under Useful Links at the top of this page.

If you aren't renewing uninstall the software via Control Panel, then run the MCPR cleanup tool, also linked under Usefgul Links, reboot and then install whatever replaces it.
