Unauthorized debit on credit card

Jump to solution

I suddenly discovered a debit on my credit card March 27, 2020 of  SEK 999.

It is done by MCAFEE *WWW.MCAFEE.COM

Category: Direct Marketing - Continuity/Subscr

Place: 866-622-3911

I am not a user of McAfee products.

Since it looked to be an automatic continuation subscription I checked to be sure all my computers in my home and none of them are using McAfee. I do not have any programs from McAfee anywhere.

I checked if I had an account with McAfee and I did not.

I checked with the tool: Forgot my password on McAfees log in website. It did not give an answer.

I have also tried to find an e-mail adress to McAfee to send them an e-mail but there is none.

Now I have joined this community for help. What shall I do? I want to get in contact with McAfee to find out how they without permission can charge my credit card. I cannot ask them for a refund since I do not have an account.

I do not have a subscription. I do not have the program. I do not have an account. I have been chating with the support and I am hopefully being contacted with someone higher up since they could not solve the problem.
