As reported above the information was on the McAfee website around 13 May.
Could someone from Mcafee [Somer?] tell us how long it will be before our account details are updated to
show the 2 year extension, as I applied 11/5/10 and as yet nothing new is on my account?

Just to let you know I got my 2-year renewal (for free) today.
I'm in The Netherlands so I don't know if all other countries received theirs also.
Not heard anything yet concerning my claim, so we'll keep waiting patiently!

Glad you got it, Saner. You and lots of others are now getting the renewals. And the claims are being handled, although, as you can imagine this takes a bit more hands-on processing. McAfee owns up to any mistakes it makes, and will always deal honestly with all customers.
Another month went by but I received full reimbursement of my claim today, just to let you know.
The 5958 debacle was awful but solved and McAfee eventually did what they were supposed to do.
