Renewal

How on earth do I get the price to renew my Total Protection which falls due in December 2019?    I switched off  auto-renewal as this renewal would be charged at full price.   I sent an email to sales@mcafee.co but this was ignored.   I used their online web form but just got a reply saying  they hoped my problem has been resolved!!! and NO I don't want to discuss it on a telephone.

Surely I can get a simple answer to a simple question.   I have been with Mcafee for 11 years and only recently have this problem.  I am now looking seriously at Kapersky.

Any suggestions please?

I have always turned auto-renewal off as it charges full rate, as you stated.

Best to use a search to shop around for the best price.

As requested by Thussain by PM on Tuesday 29th October, I sent my email contact details by return same day.

I then received an email simply saying  "We hope you received the assistance you needed"!!!  Not a word since.    This is exactly what I mean by the difficulty in trying to get a renewal price.  My yearly renewal runs out in less than a month so it looks as if, after 11 years with McAfee we will part company unless anyone at McAfee is interested. They can contact me at the email address which was sent to Thussain.

Sounds like you reached Technical Support.  They often can't tell you anything regarding sale prices by 3rd party sellers.  Search using Google for the best price and check eBay etc.  Make sure the seller is reputable though.

  • Virus Protection Pledge (VPP): If we cannot remove a virus from your supported device we’ll refund you the amount you paid for your current term subscription.  The refund does not apply to any damage or loss caused by a virus.  You are responsible for backing up your data to prevent data loss.   • Safe Connect VPN:  You will receive free, unlimited access to our VPN wireless on supported devices. Users not on auto-renewal have access to 500 MB/month of bandwidth.

  • Eligibility: McAfee® Identity Monitoring Service Essentials is available within active McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe subscriptions with identity monitoring for up to 10 unique emails. Phone number monitoring is enabled upon activation of Automatic Renewal. Not all identity monitoring elements are available in all countries. See Product Terms of Service for more information. 
  • Your subscription is subject to our License Agreement and Privacy Notice. Product features may be added, changed or removed during the subscription term. Some features may require registration and a valid ID number to activate. See System Requirements for additional information.
  • While McAfee Identity Monitoring Service provides you tools and resources to protect yourself from identity theft, no identity can be completely secure.
  • US Only:
    Fair Credit Reporting Act: You have numerous rights under the FCRA, including the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report(s). Consumer reporting agencies are required to investigate and respond to your dispute, but are not obligated to change or remove accurate information that is reported in compliance with applicable law.
