Refund: did not receive what I paid for and can't reach anyone to help me solve the issue

This month I purchased McAfee AntiVirus Plus, which includes a VPN. I had a VPN after initial install, set it up and it ran with no problems. Then a few days after installing McAfee antivirus plus I turned off the VPN temporarily to watch Hulu, which won't let you log in while running a VPN, but now the VPN setting/tab/option has completely disappeared from my McAfee app dashboard and from my online account. See enclosed photos.

I've tried calling customer support several times, managed to speak to someone one time, who proceeded to argue with me that technical support was a better option than a refund. She then gave me this reference number: 95805861 and then transferred me, I assume, to tech support where I sat on hold for an hour. But no one helped me, so I hung up and called right back but the phone just rang for 30 minutes. 

Furthermore, Virus Protection Pledge is not active as promised with auto renewal, which I've selected. See the last and second-to-last photos.

I want a refund. please address my issue ASAP and email the details to me.
