Program connecting online - blank box!

Does anybody have this annoying problem?  I am tired of disabling my antivirus and firewall just to get the box to work.  I have the notification whenever a program wants to connect to the internet.  But now I get a white blank page on the bottom right.  I have reinstalled the program, clean wiped it, technical support helped me too but the problem still exist.  It started to happen more when the antivirus got that big update.  Whats weird is some program I get the message to allow programs, but for some games like in steam, I get that white box.  Here is an image:

McAfee security software for Windows or macOS, such as LiveSafe or Total Protection, allows you to exclude individual files from being scanned for viruses by the product's Real-Time, Scheduled, On-Demand, or command line scanning features.
