Hi Guys,
Im pretty much at my wits end with this one. Bit of background:
All Mcaffe products fail to run opening with a blank white box.
Running Windows 7 SP1
Acer Aspire 5553
64 bit
2 ghz
3GB RAM
Use Mozilla firefox
Any ideas on how to get this to work? if not im going to have to uninstal and look for another provider. The Mcaffe was downloaded and not provided on disk so i dont think i can uninstall and then reinstall. any help would be brilliant.
Thanks,
Hi waller,
This issue is often caused by problems with your Windows operating system. System files depend on one another to provide full functionality. If some of these components fail to register, for example, these interdependencies will fail to function.
If McAfee SecurityCenter displays a blank screen, it might be caused by an incorrect registry key that references jscript. Perform the following steps to download and run the script that fixes this.
Restarting your computer frequently resolves these types of issues, but deeper troubleshooting might be required. Perform each of the following solutions in order, then verify the issue is resolved. If your issue is resolved, you can stop there. If your issue persists, continue to the next solution.
Verify Java is installed and up-to-date
Download and run the McAfee PreInstall Tool
Although the 1st solution above usually works Nehal forgot the remaining 2 solutions.
Solution 4
Uninstall and reinstall your McAfee Security product using the procedure in article TS101331.
Solution 5
If you still cannot see SecurityCenter screens correctly after completing all of the previous solutions you might have an operating system problem. Perform the following steps and make a note of any errors you receive.
Open SecurityCenter again. If you still cannot see the SecurityCenter screens, contact your computer manufacturer or McAfee Technical Support with these errors for additional assistance.

Adding my above post. If the issue still persist then follow below TB's ;
I believe you are using Internet explorer version 9 - Please uninstall version 9 from control panel - Add or remove program's ( View installed updates ) - Restart the computer.
Let me know the outcome.
waller,
You no need uninstall & reinstall the product, even if you do it won't work so follow the steps suggested by Peter & Nehal.
