Please provide a means to turn off the annoying pop up advertisements in the AntiVirus Plus product.
Reminds me of shareware nag screens from back in the day. Very distracting and unwelcome.
McAfee AntiVirus Plus is full price paid software. I don't want to be subjected to invasive ads I have to dismiss off my desktop.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Well, credit where credit is due.
It has been a week now, and no new pop up advertising invading my screen.
Thank you!

Hello @griffosan ,
We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused, we request you to follow the step below and update us the outcome.
1. Open McAfee
2. Settings -> General Setting and Alerts -> Informational Alerts
3. Uncheck all the options
4. Restart your device

Thank you for the prompt reply.
I have unchecked all of the informational alerts in the general settings. No nag screens so far, thanks!
One note on the procedure, you must be logged in to an administrator account to change the settings. All options are greyed out under a user account.

Well, declared success too soon.
Upon start up today, the computer shows a cyber monday ad. (It's Tuesday)
How do we turn off these unwanted nag screens?

Another day, another unwanted nag screen I have to dismiss from my desktop.
This behavior is most unwelcome in a fully paid software.
Please provide an option to turn off intrusive advertising.

Please provide a means to turn off these intrusive advertisements
Me too. I dropped the other program (starting with letter 'N') because of this nonsense. You're next, guys.
Please add an option to turn all this garbage off. It is paid - you got the money. If you want to solicit via e-mail, that's fine. I can ignore that (or act, or whatever). But to put it in your product - that's low.
I will vote with my $$.
Another day, another unwanted nag screen pop up advertisement.
Please provide a means to turn off this intrusive advertising in your full price, paid software.
It seems only fair to me that I keep posting screen shots of your advertisements until a solution is provided.
