McAfee Icon Missing from Desktop

Jump to solution

I use Vista Home Premium. I downloaded McAfee Security Center for AOL users.  The McAfee icon appeared in the notification area, but did not appear as a shortcut on my desktop.

Please comment.

Thanks,

Jerry

It's possible it was missed by the installer.   Locate the item in Start > All Programs and right-click a shortcut to Desktop.

Please note that Vista is no longer supported however, so you should be thinking of upgrading to Windows 7, at least.

Thanks for the return.  I don;t use Vista that much and forgot to check All Programs.
