Hello ,

Could you please let us know the specific error that we receive during the update process.
Also let me know the following details ;
What is the operating system of the computer ?
How is the computer connected to internet ? (dsl/wireless/cable)
Do you have any other security software installed in the computer ?

My OS is windows 7 home...

I have a broadband internet connection(cable)..

there is no other anti virus software in ma system...

update problem: McAfee cant update your software...plz check ur internet connection...if the problem continues, plz contact technical support..

This is the error msg shows while i attempting to update...as for as there is no problem vth internet connection and i also contacted vith the TS team....but it was not helpfull.

note: i unable to ON the real time scanning...my computer is @ risk now...

Hi,

I am currently having a problem to update my antivrus (mcafee internet security) on my acer laptop, which started recently. I have not had any such problem throughout the year.

The auto update has not been working for some days now and I cannot install updates manually aswell. When I try installing DAT update files, it says something like " cant find any qualified McAfee products" when I am currently running the McAfee program.

My operating system is Windows XP, I am connected to internet through wireless connection and I have no other security software installed except McAfee internet security.

Could I get some assistance please in fixing this?

Have you tried running McAfee Virtual Technician, if not please run it http://mvt.mcafee.com and then check the status

I have already fixed the mcafee updating problem after getting help on another thread. But i cant run mcafee virtual technician, it tells me that no mcafee products are found in the computer.
