Help for removing McAfee processes from Windows

I ask for help on how to remove McAfee processes installed on the PC. They were installed by the computer manufacturer, however, I don't use them because I already have another antivirus and antimalware.
I tried but I can't stop them through Task Management.
Are they:
mcapexe.exe - McAfee Access Protection
mfemms.exe - McAfee Management Service (McAfee Inc. MfeHidk)
mfevtps.exe - McAfee Process Validation Service
modulecoreservice.exe

I was also unable to remove them through the Windows registry or directly from the folder:
c:\Program Files\common files\systemcore\mfemms.exe

Names displayed in task management:
McAfee Validation trust Protection Service
McAfee AP Service
McAfee Firewall Core Service
McAfee Module Core Service
McAfee Service Controller

Re: Help for removing McAfee processes from Windows

Hi @PAULO_MENEZES

Greetings from McAfee!

To remove or uninstall your McAfee software from a PC running Windows using the standard Windows removal steps. If you have a problem with removal, you might have to run the McAfee Consumer Product Removal Tool (MCPR).

Re: Help for removing McAfee processes from Windows

I have already removed mcafee from my installed apps but there are 3 services that are still running:

1. Mcafee core firewall service

2. Mcafee management services

3. Mcafee process validation service

To remove these processes I have tried MCPR software but it every time says incomplete uninstallation.

When I right click the process and go to file location it take me to:

C:\program files\common files\mcafee\systemcore

This is where I find these files:

- mfeaaca.dll.1efb.deletme

-mfefire.exe.64f8 deleteme

-mfehidq.dll.0b79.deleteme

-mfemms.exe.1eff.deleteme

-mfemmsa.dll.1eff.deleteme

-mfestwa.dll.6b3a.deleteme

When i try to remove these files it says access denied as well as when i try to stop the processes using task manager.

Please provide me a solution as this is stopping me from enabling Memory Integrity in windows defender.

Re: Help for removing McAfee processes from Windows

Hi there, @PAULO_MENEZES

I have the exact same problem you have!
Did you already find a solution to get rid of these services?

Starting the server in save mode will do, but I truly hope I don't have to boot all of servers in safe mode in order to get rid of these McAfee services.

So, if you found a solution, I would really, really appreciate it when you would share it with me and everyone else who gets this problem in the future.

Thasnk in advance!
