Deleting norton

Hello

My sisters pc has norton installed but i want to install mcaffee total protection 2011 on her pc.

What is the best way to delete norton form my sisters pc?

Uninstall it in the normal manner via Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program (Add or Remove Programs in XP).

Run the Norton removal tool:  https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp/help-solutions.jsp?docid=20080710133834EN&lg=engl...

Reboot and try your McAfee installation.

Alternatively , you can use the Norton removal guide here : http://service.mcafee.com/faqdocument.aspx?id=TS100522   Depending upon how Norton programs were subscribed , you can used the concerned removal tool
