Yes you are right. Even though I re-installed McAfee to get the newest DAT file I think that we've determined now that it's a server issue and that many others are having the same problem... You could also try this to make sure everything is set-in-stone... I just hope the server updates me tomorrow with the newest DAT since re-install... Thanks for all the help!

Sounds more like a website server issue than a problem with the application.
Just got 6042 by manually asking for updates again.
Yup, Finally got the 6042 DAT by manually pressing the update button. I guess it was a server problem after all. Automatic update still doesn't update the dat files though. Hopefully they'll fix that soon. That red pop up was really starting to get on my nerves. Glad I waited a few hours instead of trying to reinstall the program, Sorry you had to go through all that snowman17 and mchiwbbr, that's tech support for you.
