Still no update to Personal Firewall. I am allowing updates now but still have Firewall 16.0, Version 16.0.3026, (12 Jan 17) rather than 16.0.3028. How can it take this long to get the "fix" out? Is there any point in me contacting the McAfee technical help line? Anyway I'm happy to keep the dreaded AnalyticsSDK disabled as this seems to have no effect whatsoever on the running of my PC.
If just so happens that we were informed today in our Conference Call. That the New Version/Build 15.0R0/15.1.156 or higher is slated to begin being throttled out the latter part of the month. There has been numerous fixes and enhancements to the New Installer as well.
I wish there was more I could tell you.

I have been reading all your post's. I had to perform the original fix and my version of total protection is now showing clientAnalytics in manual running mode. It must have resumed on its own after an automatic update.
I have decided to post my issue here because I am not sure if its related Mcafee badge has a '!' and says computer is at risk. It is asking to turn on spyware checking. When i choose to turn on it opens the firewall and it wont stay on.
