Thank you for your input into this issue. I realise you have only just become aware of the problem but are you able to answer this one question - does disabling ClientAnalyticalServices weaken the security of my PC and increase the chance of viral attack?

ClientAnalytics does not have anything to do with your Anti-Virus.

- thanks, that's good to know. So I leave it disabled until McAfee produces an update to correct the CPU usage problem?

I'm still curious to know what on earth it does do then, if my PC runs ok without it and the anti-virus software still works!

Yes, you can do that. As for what it actually does,that is a question better answered by a Technician/Engineer. Please know that I am not intentionally being 'Dubious'

PCs which have Windows XP or Windows 7 don't have this problem because they appear to not have ClientAnalyticalServices.

I'm leaving ClientAnalyticalServices disabled.

I am having similar problem in that cpu usage is 70% from analytics sdk and Mcafee scanner 188 mb.

i am not super technical, but my computer is completely unusable .

Any solutions?

It has nothing to do with anti-virus engine? 

May i ask what exactley its for then, just curious what it does.
