Blocking "events" and Reports and Logs: recent events

Jump to solution

I was very stupid ... a notification whether I should allow to run

- msfeedssync.exe (I can't find it in the log anymore) - I blocked it.

- immediatley following svchost.exe (in connection with the above msfeedssync.exe) so I blocked it too as I had blocked the previous.

I think I was supposed to allow them? ... oops

- Is there a way I am now able to go and allow them?

- where do I go to see ones that have been blocked manually?

Double-click the taskbar icon to open SecurityCenter (assuming this is the home product)

Click Advanced Menu (bottom)

Click Configure (left)

Click Internet & network (top left)

Click Advanced (right)

Click Program Permissions (left)

Hopefully they are listed at the right where you can edit their settings to allow full access.
