Announcement: Private Messaging

To All Community Users,

We are aware some users may have received unsolicited private messages. We apologize for any inconvenience and have taken steps to minimize further disruption to your community support experience. Private messaging was temporarily disabled and applicable accounts were banned. 

We ask that members not click on the links within these private messages and delete them instead. Furthermore, you may report messages, both forum and private, by selecting Report Inappropriate Content using the three-dotted drop down menu located to the right within a discussion or simply clicking on Report at the bottom of an inbox message. 

We also encourage you to click here to manage your private messages including how you receive notifications and their frequen... after the Private messaging is enabled.

Good to learn it isn't just me that is concerned.  I got such a message this morning.   Rather than click on it I've been trying to find some way on the community forum of viewing private messages or settings or how to report spam since this morning - 9 hours ago.

hello,

i would like to ask if private messaging is not acitviated at present ?

currently i am not able to sent or receive private messages and don't see the private message icon to do so.

or is this something i have to enable myself perhaps ?
