Thunderbird 3.*.* and Anti-Spam

Can anyone tell me if Anti-Spam 11 is behaving nicely with Thunderbird 3.0.4 or vice versa. I want to upgrade my TB but not at the exspense of Anti-Spam. Anti-Spam 11 is working perfectly for me with TB 2.0.24. Right now that is more important to me then the new version of TB. Just asking.

Re: Thunderbird 3.*.* and Anti-Spam

McAfee Antispam is not yet compatible with Thunderbird 3.x

I tried it a few days ago and no dice. However, it works great with Thunderbird 2.x, windows Mail, Outlook Express, Outlook, and a few other email clients.

McAfee is aware and have said they will get Thunderbird 3.x compatibility in a future update. We just got the be patient.

I would stick with your Thunderbird 2.x right now since its working so well for you. i am sure an annoucement will be made when Thunderbird 3.x compatibility is complete.

Re: Thunderbird 3.*.* and Anti-Spam

Any news about McAfee & Thunderbird 3 compatibility? Seems a really slow response time to have support for one of the major email systems.

Eureka! They're back together. [Re: Thunderbird 3.*.* and Anti-Spam]

Very happy to report that whatever incompatabilities were present appear to have been worked out.  I have McAfee Anti-Spam as a component of McAfee Total Protection Suite, but after switching my mail client to Thunderbird from Outlook I was unable to use this feature (and missed it, as it worked quite well).  However, for the past few days (as of 21 Dec 2010), the McAfee Anti-Spam menu and folder have been present in Thunderbird (ver 3.1.7, running on Win XP PRO SP3) and hard at work filtering out the crud.  VERY glad that this has at last been resolved
