Okay,
what does that affect?
Partners sometimes lag a bit behind current versions. Recently this less noticeable. Most current is 16.0/3
Well,...
I just want you to know that I've decided to deactivate this part of my SecurityCenter.
Even after collecting for almost one month Spammails:
... and having a working update again:
... there wasn't collected a single Spammail from that module at all.
I've read 'many many' threads in here and unfortunately those are still not cleared...
That isn't satisfying and made me wonder.
Thank you all for your help on the update Trouble.
OK I cannot comment on how good or not it works as bar 1 spam it caught I rarely see any such emails as I think my ISP clears them before they reach me. Sorry you had to deactivate it. That is the latest version Good luck.
Also what is your email client? I am asking the techs in our Moderator call in 15 mins what goes.

I've found this entry and I'm asking myself whether there'S a new failure on this Anti-Spam-Module?
Since serveral weeks I noticed a lot of spam emails in my inbox and I thought, that this might be a new technique which isn't known by McAfee by now and teached those mails to be understood as SPAM...
But it doesn't get less... it becomes even worse!
So, I checked my Version and this is what is shown:
I'm using Windows 10 Home and MS-Office-Prof-2013 Outlook.
Is there something wrong with the update of the spam definition file?

then call support if not fixed
Update of AS works fine now, but AS doesn't collect any spammail. I watched it for a month now and AS didn't detect any email as spam; even I'm teaching AS daily.
I've collected 266 mails into the spam folder and even the AS-content is updated now regularily... still AS doesn't collect/detect any spam.
