I get renewal offers although I have a valid subscription for another year. The e-mail comes from this address: **personal information omitted**.
Is that a real McAfee address?

Hi @L12 ,
I have reviewed the email which was sent to you and it is a valid McAfee email.
But, since you has two different subscriptions which expired earlier this month, the email was sent for the one which was not renewed. We do see that you have a valid subscription in your account and we request you to ignore the renewal notice as it is for the old subscription.
Thanks,
Karthikeyan J

Yup, that's the conclusion I ended up with eventually myself too...
But there are a lot of stuff coming from strange addresses in the name of McAfee, but those are very easy to spot.
Thanks for your time!
