1 There is a McAffee AntiSpam folder that is active on MS Office Outlook 365 on a Windows 10 Pro Workstation that I need to remove or disable
2. McAfee is not installed on the workstation so I can not go into McAfee settings to disable McAfee Anti Spam - I checked the Windows Security Center, Windows Settings and Apps - there is no reference whatsoever to McAfee or McAfee Anti Spam
3. If you try to delete the McAfee Antispam folder it will recreate itself
4. If you try to move the emails in the McAfee Antispam folder to any differet folder and delete the McAfee Antispam folder - the McAfee antispam folder will recreate itself and move all the emails back
How can I disable and remove the McAfee Antispam folder
Hi @marchendy
We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused. When McAfee gets installed on the computer, it enables the anti-spam feature by default for Outlook.
Please follow the below steps to disable the Anti-Spam on Outlook:
Click File >> Options >> Add-ins
Select McAfee Add-in
Click Go on the bottom
Uncheck the McAfee Add-in
Click OK
Close and reopen the outlook. Check the status.
If Issue persist, feel free to reach our support through Chat support or call our toll-free number 866-622-3911
Regards,
Kumar
