migrate license for Mcafee internet security

hello:

i bought in jan-2013 this toshiba laptop L855-B42 with windows 8 and Mcafee internet security for which i bought license for 4 years.

in last august-2013 the hard disk went bad, losing windows 8 on harddisk hidden partion and back-up dvd of windows wont work to retrieve windows 8 on new hard disk.

the service center of toshiba replaced the harddik wih new one and put new image of windows 8 and Mcafee internet security which i had activate it yesterday for 1 month time,

stating i have to buy new licenses for this version?

how to migrate the old license of 4 years to the new version without buying extra licenses?

please help?

Hi Zakker,

To resolve this, go to your account https://home.mcafee.com/Secure/MyAccount/DashBoard.aspx, log in and perform a re-install from there. The installer should remove existing versions that are installed on the machine, and replace it with an installation linked to your subscription.
