Ads in Paid Version???

I paid for a McAfee subscription. Why am I seeing pop-up ads for McAfee?  This is not okay. I paid for this version!

e.g.

"You just restarted your computer!  You have 4.GB of junk files, which may be slowing down your reboot speeds. PC Optimizer can help with that.  Speed up my PC"

My startup speed is just fine. I do NOT want to purchase PC Optimizer.  And there is no way to stop this pop-up spam! 

How do I stop this pop-up spam?

I have the Information Alerts setting disabled.  There is nothing under that setting to turn off this spam pop-up.

I called McAfee support and they said they would put in a Change Request to add an option under Information Alerts to turn this off.  Hopefully McAfee dev will get this fixed ASAP.

McAfee has to STOP undesired advertising and popups to subscribers.  If I want another subscription or software product, I am fully capable of determining that for myself.  STOP advertising via popups on my computer.  They are an annoyance!

I hate this so much I am about to change to another platform. Please add a feature to turn off ad popups. How many times do I have to say "I don't want any other McAfee products"??
