McAfee Beta Message Boards Terms of Service

McAfee provides this site as a service to beta testers using McAfee beta products or its beta web sites. We hope that it enriches your beta testing experience. In order to provide quality service and meet requirements of publishing on the Internet, we ask that you follow a few rules:

1. Users of this service may not post any material in violation of copyright, trademark, or other applicable laws.
2. Users of this service may not post any material that could be construed as violating any personal privacy laws.
3. Users of this service may not post any computer virus or trojan horse code, in whole or in part for any reason.
4. Users of this service may not post any company product codes or passwords
5. Users of this service may not post any advertisements or links to products outside of McAfee unless approved by a message board moderator or administrator.
6. Files or other information on our service may be subject to limitations on usage, reproduction and/or dissemination. You are responsible for adhering to these limitations if you download them.
7. Courtesy to other McAfee beta testers is expected. Here are some suggestions:
   • Avoid flame wars. Don't engage in personal attacks and try to resist provocation.
   • Refrain from using racial, ethnic, sexual, or religious slurs, profanity or sexually explicit language on the service.
   • Please don't be disruptive to any other McAfee beta tester's usage of this service.
   • Try to keep your discussions limited to technical discussions about the product.
   • Define your problem or suggestion clearly. Avoid simply complaining about the product in general terms. This message board is intended to create a community of discussion and help you, other beta testers, and developers.
   • Spamming will not be tolerated
8. If you have a customer service issue, such as refunds, payments etc. Please contact customer care or your sales representative.
9. Only Beta software is supported here. If you are experiencing a problem with other McAfee software, go to http://www.mcafee.com/us/support/index.html.
10. Your participation in these discussion forums, and anything else you publish through this service are subject to review, modification, and deletion without notice and at the sole discretion of McAfee, Inc. and its designates. The option not to modify or delete existing posts does not constitute an endorsement of its contents by McAfee.
11. You must be over 13 years of age to register as a user or participate in the McAfee Beta Message Boards.
